Horacio Duarte Olivares, Secretary General of the Government, emphasized that the electoral bodies will be the ones to publicize the election day, but, following the ruling by the Superior Chamber of the Electoral Tribunal of the Judicial Branch that public officials can promote the election process, the Government of the State of Mexico will collaborate in the dissemination.
