#Veracruz, #Ver.- Security during the Easter holiday period is a priority for the Veracruz City Council, according to Mayor Paty Lobeira. With the goal of ensuring the peace of mind of residents and visitors, efforts have been coordinated between municipal and federal authorities.

As part of these actions, the Navy launched Operation Plan Marina Semana Santa 2025, which includes a special deployment of personnel to reinforce surveillance on beaches, roads, and tourist areas of the municipality. This operation seeks to prevent incidents and provide timely assistance in case of emergencies.

The mayor emphasized the importance of having the support of federal forces during a season when the flow of people into the city increases significantly. She also called on citizens and tourists to follow the recommendations issued by Civil Protection to enjoy a safe Easter.

Finally, it was announced that the City Council will work closely with other agencies to ensure that security protocols are properly followed. Authorities reiterated their commitment to safeguarding the safety of all visitors to Veracruz during this holiday season.
