#Tecámac, #Edoméx.- The Tecámac City Council was recognized by the State of Mexico Human Rights Commission (Codhem) for obtaining the highest score in the Civic Justice Law Assessment applied to the 125 municipalities of the State of Mexico.

After receiving the recognition from the head of Codhem, Myrna García, Mayor Rosi Wong emphasized that this distinction positions the municipality as a state benchmark in the culture of peace, legality, and civic coexistence.

In an extraordinary City Council session, she emphasized that this achievement is the result of a process initiated in 2019 by the then mayor and current senator, Mariela Gutiérrez Escalante, who promoted the implementation of the Standardized Civic Justice Model and was present at the event.

Since its inauguration on November 10, 2020, the Justice Center has handled more than 85,000 cases, including administrative offenses, neighborhood disputes, and traffic incidents, reflecting the commitment of both public servants and the citizens of Tecamac to legality and the peaceful resolution of conflicts.

«This recognition is also a credit to our citizens, who with their civic spirit and responsibility strengthen the social fabric of the municipality,» stated Wong Romero.
In her speech, Myrna García recognized Tecámac’s commitment to promoting good practices in civic justice, highlighting its infrastructure, trained personnel, and dedication to resolving conflicts through prevention and respect for human rights.

She emphasized that Tecámac not only passed the evaluated standards with excellence, but also exceeded them, obtaining the highest percentage in the state, reflecting an administration committed to serving with dignity, respect, legality, and trust.
