#BenitoJuárez, #CDMX.- According to data published today in the National Urban Public Security Survey (ENSU) by INEGI (National Institute of Statistics and Census), for the first quarter of 2025, the Benito Juárez borough is once again the safest in Mexico City.
Nationally, the borough ranks as the second safest municipality in the country. In the capital, it consolidates its position in first place, with 18 consecutive measurements.
This is the result of the positive actions implemented by Mayor Luis Mendoza, who has placed special emphasis on strengthening the Blindar BJ360° strategy for the benefit of the Benito Juárez community, ensuring order and security are prioritized at all times.
«Benito Juárez is the safest borough in the city, and that’s because we have a strategy for coordination, prevention, and combating crime. It’s the result of daily work and the commitment to order and security that we have between the government and residents,» stated the mayor.
Since this measurement began nationwide in September 2019, the municipality’s rating has increased by 33.3 points, going from 46.3 to 79.6 percent, meaning that 8 out of 10 residents of Benito Juárez feel safe.
These results further strengthen the current administration’s commitment to its residents. Therefore, it will continue to implement actions to reduce crime, working in coordination with the Ministry of Citizen Security.
