#ISSSTE.- The Director General of the Institute of Social Security and Services for State Workers (ISSSTE), Martí Batres Guadarrama, toured the Narvarte Family Medicine Clinic (CMF), located in the Benito Juárez Municipality of Mexico City, to supervise its operations and the needs of the 74,385 beneficiaries the unit serves.

«I visited the Narvarte Clinic of @ISSSTE_mx, in Mexico City. We are resolving various issues to simplify procedures, reduce wait times, and improve care for beneficiaries,» he shared on social media.

Accompanied by the Director of Representative Offices, Rodrigo Ávila Carrasco, Martí Batres emphasized that the quality of care for beneficiaries is paramount, and therefore asked the 121 medical staff to provide dignified and humane treatment at all times.

“The number one issue is the treatment of our beneficiaries. (…) It’s important that we improve treatment at all levels: from the police officers at the entrance to the most renowned doctors, including nurses, social workers, the counters, and the pharmacy,” he emphasized.

It should be noted that the Narvarte CMF (Center for Medical Assistance) of the ISSSTE (Navarte Medical Center) began implementing mechanisms three weeks ago to expedite the distribution of medical appointment tokens, thereby reducing wait times for patients.
