#CuautitlánIzcalli, #Edoméx.- The rehabilitation of the hydraulic infrastructure in Cuautitlán Izcalli is progressing for the benefit of its inhabitants, with the entry into operation of well 264, which will improve the supply of drinking water in the Cofradías area and other communities linked through the San Miguel branch.

This well went offline last March, due to lack of maintenance on its equipment, which reduced the volume of water available for supply in this region of the municipality. To avoid intermittent service, Operagua carried out a comprehensive rehabilitation of this infrastructure, reactivating it in just over 6 weeks.

The pumping equipment was uninstalled for repair, the initial video was taken and the grooved pipe was brushed. Subsequently, the 100 hp submersible pump was reinstalled, the steel column was repaired and the discharge train was repaired, to conclude with the intake of gauging.

30 litres per second of drinking water, equivalent to 2,592,000 litres of water per day. With this available volume, more than 12,960 residents of Cofradías I, II, III and IV, as well as the area of influence of the San Miguel branch will see this service improved in their homes.

The rehabilitation of well 264 represents the second well to come into operation in less than a week, together with the resumption of well 236 in the Xhala area. These actions demonstrate the commitment of the municipal administration, headed by Mayor Daniel Serrano, to provide a timely response and quality public services to the people of Izcalli.
