Afore Pensionissste distributes 1,125 million pesos of its Operating Surplus to account holders / @ISSSTE_mx >>>

#ISSSTE.- The Institute of Social Security and Services for State Workers (ISSSTE), headed by Director General Martí Batres Guadarrama, reports that Afore Pensionissste distributed 1.125 billion pesos (mp), under the concept of Operating Remainder (ROP) through Differentiated Distribution, benefiting 1,063,275 account holders, thereby reaffirming its commitment to the financial well-being of its members.

It should be noted that the ROP represents the surplus resources that Afore Pensionissste has after covering its administrative, operating, and reserve expenses. Therefore, it is closely linked to the efficient management of the Fund and, thanks to its status as a non-profit public institution, distributes it among its account holders.

By way of analogy, the ROP is similar to the profit-sharing process that a company carries out among its employees, with the significant distinction that Afore Pensionissste makes among those who entrust their retirement savings to the company, seeking to improve their replacement rate.

This mechanism primarily benefits lower-income workers. Those eligible for the ROP’s Differentiated Distribution were all those who met the following conditions: belonging to the Individual Account system, being registered on the date the deposit was made, having contributed for at least two months during 2024, and having a balance greater than or equal to one thousand pesos as of December 31, 2024.

Likewise, it is important that your individual account is not disabled due to a mark related to a pension or separation process, a total withdrawal of the balance, a consolidation, a transfer, or due to the lack of a balance in the account on the date the linked funds were deposited.
