The Director General of the Institute of Social Security and Services for State Workers (ISSSTE), Martí Batres Guadarrama, led the closing ceremony of the «ISSSTE Health Services Humanization Workshop,» organized by the National Commission for Dignified Treatment in Mexico City. He emphasized that this activity marks the beginning of a series of workshops across the country to promote a culture of good treatment for members of the population among medical, administrative, and support staff.

«With great enthusiasm and participation, we concluded the Humanization Workshop, led by the @ISSSTE_mx Commission for Dignified Treatment, focused on state medical subdelegates, regional hospital directors, and heads of member care units. This is just the beginning; we will be extending these workshops across the country, targeting medical, paramedical, nursing, social work, administrative, pharmacy, and other staff,» he stated on social media.

At the agency’s facilities on San Fernando Avenue, south of the capital, Martí Batres emphasized the importance of ensuring that the workshop content reaches all ISSSTE staff. He asked the 100 attending officials, including medical subdelegates, regional hospital directors, and heads of Units for Assistance to Beneficiaries and Social Communication (UADyCS), to share the information and techniques learned during the two days of activities at their workplaces.

«We have 120,000 workers at various levels at ISSSTE, which means this course is only available in a small area of ​​the institution. (…) This is just the beginning, because they will have to help us take this course to every corner, because we want everyone who works at ISSSTE to be filled, imbued with this mystique, this learning, these elements that allow us to build a different culture,» he indicated.

Accompanied by the Director of Administration and Finance, Omar Butrón Fosado, the Director General of ISSSTE reaffirmed that, in the Second Floor of the Fourth Transformation, the treatment of beneficiaries is the cornerstone of the strategy being implemented by the organization to renew it.
