#BocaDelRío.– Boca del Río is prepared to welcome thousands of visitors thanks to its modern tourist infrastructure, clean beaches, and a safe and family-friendly environment, emphasized Mayor Juan Manuel Unánue Abascal.

«We are formally launching Operation Semana Santa 2025 in Boca del Río, with the coordinated participation of authorities from all three levels of government, with the firm objective of ensuring the safety of residents and visitors during this holiday period,» the mayor told the media.

From April 7 to 27, the Municipal Government will deploy more than 500 personnel. This operation will involve emergency and security forces such as Municipal Civil Protection, Municipal Police, Municipal Transit, and Greater Firefighters, as well as members of the Naval Police, National Guard, and State Police.

In addition, the Boca del Río DIF (National Institute of Information and Communications) and the Departments of Tourism, Commerce, Public Cleaning, Urban Maintenance, Sports Development, Recreation, IMMUJERES (Women’s Ministry), and Public Lighting.

The Task Force will have more than 30 units deployed at strategic locations: patrol cars, motorcycle patrol vehicles, and water and land vehicles.
