Tlalnepantla, #StateOfMexico. – In order for the inhabitants of our city to have a decent space where they can develop physical activities with quality and safe facilities, the Municipal Government delivered the comprehensive rehabilitation of the Tlalnepantla Sports Center located in the Viveros de la Loma community.

Municipal President Raciel Perez Cruz indicated that improvement works were carried out in the sports facilities such as the rehabilitation of the 7-a-side soccer field, swimming pool and creation of a flag soccer field, with the purpose of encouraging the local sports talent that is a hotbed of great athletes “whose feats have made us feel very proud”.

He also announced the rehabilitation of various spaces such as the one recently carried out at the Edson Álvarez Sports Center and work will soon begin at the Caracoles Sports Center.

“Sport is a human activity that allows people to challenge themselves and improve as individuals, it is a powerful tool to keep young people away from any temptation to consume harmful substances,” he said.

Perez Cruz commented that the Municipal Institute of Physical Culture and Sports was decentralized with the purpose of streamlining decision making and strengthening financial sustainability so that the collection will be administered by a collegiate body that will decide the destination of the resources and that more sports facilities will be provided with decent and first class facilities.

The Mayor stated that “we received practically all the sports facilities of our city dismantled, there was looting by the previous government, nothing will go unpunished and we have determined the responsibilities incurred by the sports authorities in the last three years”.
