Government of Pedro Rodríguez consolidates strategy in China to promote solutions in Atizapán de Zaragoza / @Pedro_RVillegas @GobAtizapan >>>>.
#GobiernoDeAtizapanDeZaragoza, In a historic working tour of the People’s Republic of China, the Municipal President, Pedro Rodríguez Villegas, has established important cooperation ties and has positioned Atizapán de Zaragoza as an avant-garde municipality, ready to receive foreign investment and generate new development opportunities.
The main objective of this international mission, as the mayor himself pointed out, is ‘to seek solutions and investments that will strengthen municipal governments in the face of the challenges of the present’.
During his visit to the Longhua International Cooperation Centre in Shenzhen, President Rodríguez Villegas was received by senior officials, who recognised the favourable conditions and support that the government of Atizapán offers for high-tech companies to establish themselves in Mexico. As a result, it was agreed that a Chinese delegation will visit our country in August to materialise this collaboration.
The work agenda focused on finding answers to the most felt needs of the population:
Low-cost water drinking fountains for students: A key point was the visit to the company Shandong Haojing (Sifei) Energy-saving Equipment Co., Ltd. to see first-hand the water purification machines that will be installed in all the schools of Atizapán. This project, said the President, ‘This will mark a before and after in the lives of our children and young people’.

Sustainable Innovation for the Streets: Demonstrating a strong commitment to the environment, the delegation toured three companies that have achieved a milestone in the circular economy: using recycled tyres as raw material. They learned about an advanced process that converts used tyres into more resistant, flexible and durable asphalt, creating a sustainable alternative for city resurfacing.
Technology Investment Attraction: Meetings were held with giants such as Chuangtong Xinke Group and TINNO Mobile Technology Group to explore job creation and connect the municipality with future industries.
The mayor was clear on the purpose of these efforts: «We are looking for investments that offer real solutions to the serious problems faced by municipalities, especially in terms of the environment and public health.
This work tour demonstrates the commitment of the current administration to go further, building international bridges that will translate into jobs, better infrastructure, public health and, ultimately, a better quality of life for all the families of Atizapán de Zaragoza.
