#SecretaríaDeCultura , #México.- The Ministry of Culture of the Government of Mexico, through the General Directorate of Cultural Liaison, invites you to enjoy “Summer Vacations at the Pavilion”, a special program that will take place every Saturday and Sunday, from July 5 to 26, 2025, at the Community Culture Pavilion, located in the Second Section of the Chapultepec Forest, in Mexico City.

During four consecutive weekends, this community space will be filled with playful, creative and participatory activities aimed at children, young people, adults and entire families who want to experience a different kind of summer, where art and culture are the protagonists.

Each day will offer experiences designed to stimulate imagination, play, reflection and coexistence. Among the main activities is the cardboard workshop, which will be held every Saturday in July, as well as on Sundays 6 and 13, from 12:00 to 15:00 hours, where participants will learn to build figures and objects using this traditional Mexican technique.

During July, the Pavilion will also host meetings to share memories, knowledge and experiences. Through the workshop Building Community Memories, participants will reflect on oral history and its digital preservation. In addition, the Harvest Times of the Creative Seedbeds of Graphic Arts and Circus will showcase the collective talent and the creative process of girls, boys and girls.

hese vacations will also be an opportunity to discover and participate in the permanent activities of the space, such as: Semilleros Creativos, with chess, graphic arts, circus and theater workshops, where children and young people explore art as a form of expression and social transformation.

Semillero de Oficios Culturales, a community training space that offers activities in graphic design, writing, woodworking, silkscreen printing and costume creation.

Convites Culturales, with painting, guitar and plastic arts sessions for audiences of all ages, as well as Cine Sillita, which offers screenings every Friday, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., with selected films and short films.

All activities are free of charge and are designed to strengthen the right to culture, the creative use of free time and the social fabric through meaningful, accessible and inclusive experiences.
