Sport is not a privilege, but a tool for social transformation in Naucalpan: Isaac Montoya / @isaacsolar @GobNau >>>>
#NaucalpanDeJuárez, #EstadoDeMéxico.- The municipal president, Isaac Montoya Márquez, while delivering the rehabilitation of the Aquatic Center El Tepetatal, accompanied by the Olympic medalist in Sydney 2000 in the diving discipline, Fernando Platas, emphasized that his government rehabilitated this sports space to restore life, dignity and purpose to a space that the people already felt lost.
In the Ampliación Altamira neighborhood, before recognized medalists from Naucalpan, as well as students and citizens, he announced the promotion of a program of 200 sports scholarships for girls, boys and young people, who will be able to train in this space, some with partial support and others with 100% scholarships.
He added that in his government, through the Municipal Institute of Physical Culture and Sports of Naucalpan (IMCUFIDEN), sport is not an elite privilege, but a tool for social transformation.
In addition, the mayor told the neighbors that, together with the IMCUFIDEN, this space will also be a hotbed of talent, health and community coexistence and will remain as one of the Footprints of Transformation.

Montoya Márquez said that, a few years ago, the Aquatic Center was a symbol of abandonment, today it is a living center, renovated and with a social vocation, in addition to the fact that the El Tepetatal pool is once again of the people and for the people.
He emphasized that there will be no privatization in this place and that the fees will continue to be accessible, because health, sports and recreation are not a luxury: they are a right.
«In Naucalpan, we do not open spaces for the enjoyment of a few, but for the enjoyment of the community, especially those who need it most. In this government we do not come to take from the people: we come to give back to them what belongs to them.»
