In spite of aggressions and threats, the “antichelerías” devices will continue in Coyoacán, CDMX / @giogutierrezag @Acaldia_coy

#Coyoacán, #CiudadDeMéxico.– This weekend elements of Escudo Coyoacán, with the support of the Navy and the National Guard, as well as personnel from the Dirección de Gobierno of the Dirección General Jurídica y de Gobierno of the Mayor’s Office, carried out another operation in which half a dozen “chelerías” were closed and “counterfeit goods” were removed, as well as products for the preparation of different drinks and cocktails.

There were even some chelerías that opted to lower the curtains and lock their own customers in order not to allow any review by the authorities. Therefore, these places will be visited again in order to verify their documentation and, as has happened on other occasions, if they do not have it, they will be legally suspended.

During this weekend’s operation, there were a couple of incidents at in which those who illegally sold alcohol became aggressive to the government’s actions, however, in the end, all objects intended for the sale and consumption of alcohol were removed from the site, since it is not allowed.
