#TlalnepantlaDeBaz, #StateOfMexico.- Dentistry, optometry, general medicine, laboratory studies, among other free services, are provided at the new First Level Medical Unit Doctor Matilde Petra Montoya Lafragua located in the community of San Juan Ixhuatepec, facilities delivered by Mayor Raciel Perez Cruz that have first class equipment and specialists who will take care of the health of the residents of Tlalnepantla East.

Accompanied by the Honorary President of DIF Tlalnepantla Rocio Perez Cruz, the Mayor indicated that this action is part of the program ‘Salud a tu Alcance’, an initiative of the local government that aims to contribute to the welfare of citizens as “an act of justice to preserve the health of all”.

Pérez Cruz highlighted that Tlalnepantla is contemplated within the Strategic Plan for the East promoted by the President of the Republic, Dr. Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, through which the Ceylan Hospital located in the Jorge Jiménez Cantú (Caracoles) neighborhood will be rehabilitated, in which 1.7 billion pesos will be invested.

“Health is one of the most just demands of the inhabitants of Our City and while that happens, today the Municipal Government delivers this facility that will provide first class care to people who come, I ask you to help us spread this effort so that the clinic reaches the largest number of inhabitants,” he said.

The Deputy Medical Director of DIF Tlalnepantla Laura Levario Jaramillo detailed that in the case of the optometry service, patients can receive up to four diopters and get their glasses; likewise, laboratory studies such as syphilis, HIV, Pap smears, tests for diabetic patients, febrile reactions, coproparasitoscopic and general urine test, among others, are performed.

He added that in addition to this facility, there are also Mobile Units that are located in different communities of the municipality in order to have greater coverage.
