#FederalGovernment, #Mexico.- “In the National Palace, we lead the 153rd Luctuary Anniversary of Benito Juárez; the ideals of the Meritorious of the Americas are inspiration and reference in this second floor of the Fourth Transformation,” she shared on social networks.
In the Precinct of Homage to Don Benito Juárez, the Chief of the Federal Executive, mounted a guard of honor and observed a minute of silence in memory of the Benemérito de las Américas, accompanied by the Secretary of the Interior, Rosa Icela Rodríguez Velázquez: The Head of Government, Clara Brugada Molina; the governor of Oaxaca, Salomón Jara Cruz; the general director of the National Institute of Indigenous Peoples (INPI), Adelfo Regino Montes; the municipal president of Guelatao de Juárez, Oaxaca, Isaías García Soto; and the historian of the National Institute of Historical Studies of the Revolutions of Mexico (INEHRM), Tamara Aranda Ramos.
At the ceremony, INEHRM researcher Tamara Aranda Ramos recalled that Benito Juárez, originally from Oaxaca, was president of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (SCJN), President of Mexico and defender of the homeland, who built the legal frameworks for the development of the nation and promoted the freedom of Mexicans.
He emphasized that the Juarist principles of an austere, sober government that defends the sovereignty and respect for the dignity of the Mexican people, continue to be references for the great national transformations.
