#TlalnepantlaDeBaz, #StateOfMexico.- Less than a year before the start of the most important soccer tournament in the world at the national team level, Tlalnepantla is already experiencing this soccer celebration with the ‘Mundialito 2025’, a 7-a-side football championship that includes male and female teams and brings the whole family together in a space of healthy coexistence.

The Municipal President Raciel Pérez Cruz kicked off this competition at the Edson Álvarez Sports Complex, which brings together girls, boys, and young people who passionately live this sport that stirs many emotions among fans.

In addressing the participants, the Mayor invited them to stay close to physical and recreational activities to steer away from the false path of drug addiction, which destroys their dreams and greatly harms their families and society in general.

He assured that his government, through the Institute of Physical Culture and Sports of Tlalnepantla (IMCUFyDET), has the mission of continuing to recover spaces so that residents can exercise in dignified and first-class places such as the «Edson Álvarez» and «Tlalnepantla» sports facilities, which have been completely rehabilitated for the benefit of the users.

He also highlighted the start of work at the Amazitlali Sports Center located in the Lázaro Cárdenas 3rd Section; these will be carried out in coordination with the Secretariat of Agrarian, Territorial and Urban Development (SEDATU) through the federal program «Public Works Stream.» With these actions, this space will feature a grass pitch, lighting, exercise equipment, and new playgrounds, all to benefit more than 75,000 residents of the mentioned neighborhood and nearby communities.

The «Mundialito 2025» is taking place from July 22 to 24, featuring both men’s and women’s teams competing.
