#FederalGovernment, #Mexico.- The Mexican government, through the Institute to Return Stolen Goods to the People (INDEP), announced that the first online auction of the year will be held from July 25 to August 6 at https://subastas.indep.gob.mx. This auction will include 218 real estate properties and 145,429 personal property assets, including vehicles, homes, commercial premises, jewelry, machinery, land, and some financial assets.

Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo announced that the funds raised from this first auction will be allocated to health centers and hospitals in the country’s municipalities that need them most.

«All these funds obtained from the auctions of these confiscated assets are allocated; in this case, we are going to allocate them to health issues in the municipalities that need them most in the country,» she stated during the morning press conference, «Las mañaneras del pueblo» (The People’s Morning Press Conference).

She announced that the amount raised will be reported on August 7.

INDEP Director General Mónica Fernández Balboa explained that the assets to be auctioned are provided by the institutions that seize them after judicial processes, including seizures, transfers, mandates, seizures, or abandonment, particularly those of illicit origin, and that they will be transformed for the benefit of the Mexican people.
