A historic investment of pesos has been announced to transform the eastern part of the State of Mexico / @delfinagomeza @Edomex

#StateOfMexico, #Mexico.- The Government of Mexico and the State of Mexico reaffirmed their commitment to the Comprehensive Plan for the Eastern Zone, a high-impact social strategy that seeks to reverse years of neglect in historically disadvantaged municipalities, benefiting more than 10 million residents of the State of Mexico, with a historic investment of 75.786 billion pesos.

“I attended a meeting at the National Palace with our beloved President of Mexico, Dr. @Claudiashein, which was also attended by mayors and mayors who are part of the Comprehensive Plan for the Eastern Zone of the State of Mexico. Together, we reviewed the progress in the implementation of the #PlanOrienteEdoMéx to counteract years of neglect in this area,” Governor Delfina Gómez Álvarez announced through her social media.

The state leader emphasized that the consolidation phase of this project has already begun with the launch of some of the 121 actions contemplated in the Eastern Plan, including the construction of hospitals, housing improvements and regularization, drainage works, paving, and patching, all of which will be supervised by President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo.
