SECULT and CCTQ expand support for artists and promote new audiences in the state of Querétaro / @makugo @gobqro >>>

#QuerétaroState, #Mexico.-The State Secretariat of Culture (#SECULT) and the Querétaro Theater Advisory Council (CCTQ) issued the following calls for applications: «Inter-Acción Creativa,» supporting artists wishing to collaborate with local theater companies, and «Patio de Butacas,» focused on promoting audience creation during theater seasons.

The first category is open to theater groups, collectives, and companies based in Querétaro. The objective is to strengthen collaboration between artists of different generations, disciplines, and backgrounds, as well as to support professionalization and artistic exchange within the state’s theater community.

The registration period for the call is August 31st. It is divided into two categories: Category A, aimed at theater companies and groups, and Category B, inviting artists of any discipline to collaborate on a theater project.

As part of the grant, 20 individual financial grants will be awarded to selected artists, consisting of 15,000 pesos for each participant who joins one of the projects proposed by the benefiting theater companies or groups.

The «Patio de Butacas» (Patio de Butacas) call is aimed at theater groups, collectives, and companies based in Querétaro. The purpose is to strengthen the ties between theater groups and the public through the symbolic purchase of tickets and their distribution to a greater number of people, thus promoting attendance at the seasons presented in various state, municipal, and private venues across the state.
