Salamanca promotes peace by providing support to young people and organizing Peace Days / @GobSalamanca

#Salamanca, #Guanajuato.- With the aim of establishing a solid foundation for building peace in our municipality, the Government of Salamanca, in coordination with the Federal Government and the State Government, delivered cards to beneficiaries of the «Youth Building the Future» program, as well as implemented the Days for Peace at the Deportiva Sur facilities.

The Youth Building the Future program is an initiative of the Federal Government aimed at addressing the structural causes of violence and crime by providing young people with financial support, access to Social Security, and the opportunity to acquire tools, skills, and experience to develop professionally and contribute to building a better future.

At this event, where cards were given to 459 beneficiaries from the municipalities of Salamanca, Valle de Santiago, Irapuato, Juventino Rosas, Jaral del Progreso, and Villagrán, present were Martha López López, general director of the Construction of Peace Tables Zone 1; Iris Concepción Valdez Domínguez, head of the Federal Program of the Building the Future Unit for Youth; Viridiana Rojas Portuguez, general director of Territorial Operations; and the municipal president of Salamanca, César Prieto, who highlighted:

«These programs aim to provide the tools for people to move forward on their own and build a better future for their children.»
