#TlalnepantlaDeBaz, #StateOfMexico.- In Tlalnepantla, strategic alliances are being created to promote sports throughout the municipality. This time, they are specifically supporting cycling enthusiasts, a sport that fosters healthy coexistence and a healthy lifestyle for those who enjoy this activity.
Representing Mayor Raciel Pérez Cruz, City Secretary Miguel Ángel Bravo Suberville stated that the coordination between the State Government, led by Professor Delfina Gómez Álvarez, and the Federal Government, led by Dr. Claudia Sheinbaum, allows for actions such as the ride that took place this Sunday in the municipality.
«Today, more than just a ride, we are building a message of life, unity, and future for our youth. This ride is a symbol of what we want for our Mexico: a country that is moving, active, healthy, and at peace,» the official stated during the mobility forum held in the People’s Hall of the Municipal Palace.
Bravo Suberville commented that in Tlalnepantla, there is a firm belief that sports, physical culture, recreation, and healthy coexistence are tools for transforming communities, addressing the causes of violence, and distancing young people from addiction.

We want to be far from violence, but we want to be close to school, to the arts, and, of course, to sports and culture. The most important thing is that today, more than ever, the Mexican State is working for everyone with policies born locally with a profoundly human approach,” he mentioned.
The Secretary of Mobility of the Government of the State of Mexico, Daniel Andrés Sibaja González, acknowledged the historical lag that exists in the state regarding bike path infrastructure, which is why mandatory mechanisms have been created for the construction of bicycle-friendly roads.
An example of this, he continued, is the Mobility Trust for Cyclists and Transients of the State of Mexico (FIMOCyT), which has resulted in the traceability of projects benefiting those who use bicycles as a means of transportation, for work, or for sports. He added that this trust relies on the participation of civil society actors to ensure that the initiatives are successful.
