#Tecámac, #StateOfMexico.- In the last six years, Tecámac has emerged as the new development hub of the State of Mexico due to its strategic location and service infrastructure, making it an attractive municipality for investment, reflected in buoyant economic growth.
Today, Tecámac, which celebrates its bicentennial this year, is projected as a key territory in the country’s new logistics, business, and airport landscape, with an expanding economy and a better quality of life for its residents.
President Claudia Sheinbaum herself considers it the new development hub for the central region of the country, as it plays a significant role with the opening of the Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA).
Tecámac, which is celebrating 200 years since its establishment as a municipality, is located in the northeastern region of the State of Mexico, with a population of nearly 600,000 and is the seventh most important of the 125 municipalities in the state.
Municipal President Rosi Wong Romero has reiterated her commitment to promoting public policies to leverage the AIFA’s dynamics and ensure the municipality remains attractive to the business sector, in order to continue its growth path.
Its strategic connectivity and proximity to the airport position it as a key logistics hub, in addition to its urban infrastructure: investment in sewers, roads, public transportation, and basic services.
