The expansion of Av. de Los Arcos in Tepojaco begins, a key project for mobility in Cuautitlán Izcalli / @daniel_ser @GobIzcalli >>>

#CuautitlánIzcalli, #StateOfMexico.- Public servants and auxiliary authorities from the Tepojaco and Lake Guadalupe regions kicked off construction this Saturday morning for the widening of Av. de Los Arcos at the intersection with Avenida Las Torres, in front of the Tepojaco arches.

The mayor stated that «the work will begin very early Saturday to impact the public as little as possible, because the real transformation lies in the work, not in the ceremonial event.» He also emphasized that work will take place this Saturday and Sunday, but starting Monday, work will be carried out from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. to minimize the impact on the population, as this is what the people are demanding.

He asked the People’s Guardians and the auxiliary authorities present to help publicize the importance of this project, which he acknowledged, «is a very important challenge because it is one of the busiest and has been a long-standing demand to improve travel times in the area.»

This is a tendered project consisting of an area of 2,575 m2, widening one lane by more than three meters to create two outbound lanes in the mornings and two return lanes in the afternoons. This will be a reversible lane that will benefit approximately 80,000 residents in the area.

The Mayor reiterated that the important thing is to carry out the work hand in hand with the community. Therefore, a brochure will be created to inform the public about what is being done, how it will be done, when it will begin, how long it will last, and who the beneficiaries are.
