#FederalGovernment, #Mexico.- “To say: we all arrived is, in effect, that we all arrived with history and with the future. Therefore, today I want to tell you that I know that it is not only the time of women in Mexico, but it is the time of women throughout the world,” she asserted.

She explained that Mexico has been experiencing a special moment in its history since 2018, when the Fourth Transformation of public life came to power and began the vindication of women and groups that had been historically forgotten.

She stated that her arrival to the Presidency of Mexico not only signified the continuity of the Fourth Transformation, but also the possibility for all women to achieve it and guarantee access to the basic rights of health, education, housing, and a life free from violence.

During the inauguration, attended by Michelle Bachelet, honorary president of the World Health Organization’s Alliance for Maternal and Child Health, the Federal Chief Executive, highlighted the constitutional reforms to guarantee substantive equality, the creation and dissemination of the Women’s Rights Booklet, the consolidation of a National Care System, the construction of LIBRE Centers in every municipality in the country, the formation of the National Network of Weavers of the Homeland, and the Women’s Welfare Pension for women ages 60 to 64.
