Pedro Rodríguez launches historic academic alliance for the future of Atizapán de Zaragoza / @Pedro_RVillegas @GobAtizapan

#AtizapánDeZaragoza, #StateOfMexico.- The government of Atizapán de Zaragoza marked a milestone in urban planning by bringing together Harvard University, the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), and the Monterrey Institute of Technology (Tec de Monterrey) for a single project. This powerful academic alliance was the cornerstone of the workshop «Dialogues for Urban Improvement in Atizapán de Zaragoza,» in which 160 residents of the municipality participated.

The meeting was designed to merge cutting-edge technical knowledge with the daily experience of residents from diverse communities. The initiative, as its motto indicates, sought to make the voice of the people part of a collective project to decide how we want to live.

«Our administration believes in the power of collaboration. Bringing together three academic giants like Harvard, UNAM, and the Monterrey Institute of Technology to listen and work directly with our citizens is proof of our commitment,» said Mayor Pedro Rodríguez Villegas. «We’re combining the world’s best knowledge with the experience of our people to build the future our families deserve.»
