#Naucalpan, #StateOfMexico.– In the park of the Las Huertas First Section neighborhood, Mayor Isaac Montoya Márquez led the Dance for Peace event, part of the Peacebuilding Days, part of the national security strategy promoted by Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, to address the causes of violence in communities.
After leading the Peacebuilding Coordination Roundtable, held this time in this community, the mayor told residents that he has received instructions from President Claudia Sheinbaum to maintain coordination with the various security agencies to address, on the one hand, the causes of violence, but also to identify the hotbeds of violence in communities to transform their lives.
“On behalf of our government, we want to have this permanent presence in the communities. This is the instruction for all directors: to be kind at all times and to always be humble; to have a clear understanding of reality, because we have no other purpose than to transform the reality of our communities,” stated Montoya Márquez.
Within the framework of the Peace Days, various youth and children’s groups presented regional dances, Hawaiian dances, and Arabic dances to residents from various neighborhoods.

On Allende Street, the mayor also stated that the Rosario Castellanos University will be inaugurated in a few days, which will benefit all those seeking to continue their professional studies.
Regarding security, he stated that the municipal government is working to install 600 video surveillance cameras to strengthen security. These will replace the 65 cameras left in poor condition by the previous administration. In addition, work is progressing to soon have a fully renovated C4 (Center for Emergency and Municipal Justice) station, which will become a municipal emergency and justice center.
Montoya Márquez also reported that, as part of the Footprints of Transformation program, the park known as El Columpio (the Swing) in the Las Huertas First Section neighborhood received general maintenance. Various streets were also marked, manual sweeping was performed, and streetlights were repaired and replaced, among other work by the Public Services Department.
