#Naucalpan#StateOfMexico.- Upon handing over the third rehabilitated section of Minas Palacio Avenue, from Miguel Negrete Street to San Antonio Zomeyucan Street, Mayor Isaac Montoya Márquez emphasized that this was the first project his administration began to undertake. «For us, it is very important that the roadway be in increasingly optimal condition from end to end.»

A total of 563 meters of this important thoroughfare now features hydraulic concrete, releveled manholes in the storm drains, and replaced pipes, drainage, water lines, discharges, and drinking water intakes.

Montoya Márquez emphasized that projects such as the rehabilitation of Minas Palacio Avenue are part of the Footprints of Transformation and added that by the end of this year, his administration will work on hydraulic works to resolve structural problems in the water supply, and will also rehabilitate some wells in the area.

The Minas Palacio water system was at least 50 to 60 years old. Streetlights are installed every 25 meters on both sides to benefit both pedestrians and drivers.

With the completed project, the entire avenue will directly benefit approximately 240,000 residents in at least 10 communities, along 2.6 kilometers and 5.7 kilometers of streetlights.

He also announced that restoration work will begin on some markets, such as El Molinito.

In front of residents and auxiliary authorities from San Luis Tlatilco and El Molinito, as well as municipal public servants, the mayor emphasized that it is important for his administration to rehabilitate the roads used by the majority of the population to bring social justice and a better quality of life to the population.

He emphasized that by year-end, the public works budget was increased from 700 to 800 million pesos to renovate as many public spaces as possible without incurring debt for the municipality, thereby establishing a historic public works budget for Naucalpan.
