Esteva Medina presents the First Work Report 2024-2025 of the SICT / @SICT_mx >>>

#MinistryOfCommunicationsAndTransportation#México.- The Secretary of Infrastructure, Communications, and Transportation (SICT), Jesús Antonio Esteva Medina, submitted in writing, in a timely manner, the First Progress Report for 2024-2025 to the Congress of the Union on the status of his agency.

He highlights the construction and modernization of highways and roads along 10 priority axes, which together amount to a total length of 2,220 kilometers. As of June 30, 2025, construction has begun on 195 kilometers along seven of the 10 planned axes, and 2.078 billion pesos have been spent.

He also explains that, through the 2024-2025 National Highway Maintenance Program, known as Bachetón (Bachetón), more than 45,465 kilometers have been repaired through routine maintenance work (pothole repair), which has generated 3,112 jobs.

Additionally, through periodic maintenance work (repaving), 1,572 kilometers have been repaired, benefiting more than 26 million people and creating 3,446 additional jobs.

The Report describes the progress and results achieved in institutional programs and projects during this administration led by Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo regarding all infrastructure projects carried out by the Ministry.
