#Querétaro, #México.- Committed to strengthening the state’s environmental agenda, Governor Mauricio Kuri González held a working meeting with Alicia Bárcena Ibarra, the Federal Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources. The meeting focused on key topics such as land use planning, waste management, and the circular economy.

The meeting took place at the SEMARNAT headquarters in Mexico City. During the discussion, progress and challenges in sustainability were shared, highlighting the actions promoted in Querétaro to consolidate its position as a national benchmark in responsible environmental policies.

Mauricio Kuri presented the strategies implemented to reduce CO₂ emissions and promote an effective regulatory framework. He agreed with the head of SEMARNAT on the importance of combining institutional efforts to advance environmental protection and the development of cleaner and more resilient communities.
