#DoloresHidalgo, #Guanajuato.- The Municipal President of Dolores Hidalgo, Guanajuato, Adrián Hernández Alejandri, has participated in the Second State Consultative Council for Guanajuato’s Pueblos Mágicos (Magical Towns). This gathering was described as highly productive, focusing on new federal strategies aimed at strengthening the identity, tourism, and development within these special communities. The discussions are set to bring renewed focus and resources to enhance the unique cultural heritage of the region.

Mr Hernández Alejandri expressed his gratitude for the presence of Mr Marte Luis Molina Orozco from the Federal Secretariat of Tourism. The federal representative shared details on “upcoming actions and schemes for the application of resources and benefits for the Pueblos Mágicos”. The Mayor assured attendees that “very good things are coming for Dolores Hidalgo, Cradle of National Independence,” which holds the distinction of being the first ‘Magical Town’ in Guanajuato, officially designated in August 2002.

The Municipal President also took the opportunity to acknowledge key state leaders for their commitment to the region. He thanked the Secretary of Tourism, Lupita Robles, for her “close and constant leadership” and the Governor, Libia Dennise García Muñoz Ledo, for her “vision of continuing to make Guanajuato a state that unites tradition, history, and progress”. Their collective efforts underscore a cohesive strategy for regional development and cultural preservation.

The Mayor concluded his remarks by underscoring the necessity of inter-governmental cooperation for achieving their goals.
