#SmartCityInnovation #DigitalTlalnepantla —- #Tlalnepantla, #StateOfMexico.- The Tlalnepantla Government, led by Mayor Raciel Pérez Cruz, has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to leveraging technology to streamline bureaucratic processes and save valuable time for its citizens, an achievement highlighted during the «Success Stories in Municipal Digital Transformation: Avant-garde Experiences» Panel held in Guanajuato. This pioneering approach centres on the «Plataforma Tlalnepantla», a system described as far exceeding traditional municipal software, establishing itself instead as a centralised, unified technological ecosystem that functions as the digital backbone of the administration’s operations, heralding a new era of efficiency.

Representing the Mayor, the Coordinator of Digital Government for the City Council, Miguel Antonio Gamboa, detailed how this innovative system successfully integrates various departments and services, including the Treasury, Citizen Services, Cadastre, and Public Security. This comprehensive interconnectivity is vital, as it effectively eliminates barriers to access for residents and significantly boosts collaboration among the different governmental areas, ultimately leading to a dramatic optimisation of public services provided to the citizenry.

A key element in this success story is the strategic incorporation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into the development workflow, a tool that has become an essential strategic element to enhance programmers’ creativity and efficiency, thereby triggering a high-performance development environment. Mr Gamboa explained that integrating AI into the process is a «paradigm shift», allowing for «massive acceleration in the generation of base code and elevation of quality and reduction of errors», including the tedious task of documentation now being AI-assisted.

Addressing the tangible outcomes, Mr Gamboa commented on the «transformative impacts» secured by the platform, which notably include operational efficiency and time savings, data-driven decision-making, reinforced transparency and security, and smart territorial management. The ecosystem’s interconnectedness is the engine behind its sophistication, enabling the swift flow of information necessary for obtaining high-speed results in public service.

This verticality ensures that data «flows without obstacles from the operational level up to the direction», creating a cohesive and responsive governmental structure. The forum, which also welcomed insights from Blanca Margarita Ramos Sandoval of Zapopan and Carlos Alejandro Cárdenas Hernández of León, served to position Tlalnepantla as a national benchmark for digital innovation.
