This innovative approach, designed to foster direct and immediate attention to citizens’ needs, drew an enthusiastic turnout at the latest «Día del Pueblo» event. The commitment to strengthening community ties is unequivocally at the forefront of the administration’s mandate, translating policy into genuine, tangible engagement with the residents.

This past Thursday, the Unidad Habitacional Infonavit Campo 1 served as the distinguished venue for the «Día del Pueblo», marking a successful convergence of local government and residents. A total of 170 neighbours received first-hand attention and swift resolution to their concerns, courtesy of the Municipal Mayor and the dedicated heads of the various municipal departments.

The initiative is designed to bypass bureaucratic delays by bringing vital resources directly to the community, as Daniel Serrano articulated: «This initiative has the purpose of reuniting us with the most important element a Government has, which is our people, and attending directly to their needs.»

More than a dozen critical administrative areas were in attendance at the Infonavit Campo 1 event, ensuring comprehensive coverage of communal concerns. Departments such as Servicios Públicos, Medio Ambiente, Protección Civil, Operagua, Seguridad Pública, Desarrollo Urbano, and the Sistema DIF were present to address a spectrum of requests immediately.

This seamless operational structure allowed residents to resolve issues ranging from essential water utility services to matters of Catastro and requests for poda (pruning) services, all in a single, convenient location. The programme underscores a transparent and highly efficient model for local governance.

The resounding success of the «Día del Pueblo» solidifies the administration’s dedication to effective public service, demonstrating that direct engagement is the most reliable path to municipal prosperity.
