Under the leadership of Director General Martí Batres Guadarrama, the institution deployed specialized medical teams to address critical conditions through modern, efficient interventions. These efforts emphasize a human-centered approach to social security, ensuring that advanced clinical care remains accessible to those who serve the state. The initiative marks a milestone in reducing surgical wait times while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and well-being.

The first phase of this medical offensive took place at the «Mérida» Hospital Clinic, where specialists tackled complex cases of renal lithiasis. Led by urologists Iván Arturo Velueta Martínez and Manuel Michel Ramírez, the team utilized minimally invasive techniques to treat 36 patients. Under the coordination of Director Raúl Nemias Uc Contreras, these modern procedures ensured rapid recovery and minimal physical trauma for the participants.

Complementing these efforts, a second surgical wave occurred on December 5 at the 12Q Family Medicine Clinic, focusing on subdermal tumors. Dr. Jesús Roberto Ángeles Varela performed expert extractions for 25 individuals, successfully removing lipomas and other growths through precise ambulatory care. Subdelegate Mario Alcocer Basto praised the collective dedication of the nursing and surgical staff in achieving these transformative health outcomes.

All interventions were performed as outpatient procedures, allowing patients to return home within twelve hours to begin their monitored recovery. This streamlined model of care exemplifies the efficiency and compassion currently defining the institution’s medical mission. By prioritizing «optimal follow-up attention,» the agency ensures a seamless transition from the operating theater to full domestic rehabilitation.
