CONADE Formalizes the 2026 High-Performance Annual Work Program to Harmonize National Sporting Objectives
#EliteAthletics2026 #MexicanPride —– The Villas Tlalpan facilities of the National Commission for Physical Culture and Sport (#CONADE) hosted the sixth and final presentation of the 2026 High-Performance Annual Work Program, led by Luis Rivera Morales, Deputy Director of Quality for Sport, and attended by representatives from 17 Mexican sports federations.
The work led by CONADE officials aimed to establish the guidelines for all Olympic and non-Olympic sports this year, culminating in the Central American and Caribbean Games Santo Domingo 2026, a key event for most disciplines.
“The objective of this meeting is to present the 2026 High-Performance Plan, which we have been developing since September with the various federations. They outlined their goals for this year, their needs, and the competitions, camps, and training sessions they require,” explained the deputy director, who emphasized that, at the instruction of CONADE’s Director General, Rommel Pacheco Marrufo, the goal is to ensure that all athletes and coaches are aware of the events that will be supported throughout the year.
For her part, the Director of High Performance, Carolina Acosta, presented the detailed schedules of activities for each sport and discipline, while Dr. Dulce María Pérez Flores, Director of Medicine and Applied Sciences, listed the services offered to athletes.
