#Tecámac, #Edoméx.- Mariela Gutiérrez Escalante, candidate of the coalition Sigamos Haciendo Historia for the Senate of the Republic for the State of Mexico, called on all Mexicans to fight to build the second floor of the Fourth Transformation and prevent the corruption of the neoliberals from returning.
After she attended the kick-off of Claudia Sheinbaum’s presidential campaign yesterday in downtown Mexico City, today he held a swearing-in ceremony and presentation of his campaign team, as well as a meeting with the media.
The swearing-in included state, regional and 40 federal district coordinators so that the support structure will cover the entire state territory.
The candidate for Senator of the People, the central slogan of her campaign, said that she is excited to contribute decisively from this entity to promote the project of the one who will be the first president of Mexico: Claudia Sheinbaum.
«Six years after the transformation, it has not been possible to dismantle the constitutional framework of the neoliberalism era; we have made progress but now it is up to us to put an end to that harmful and unjust legacy of anachronistic immoral laws that must be repealed», pointed out the candidate of Morena, PT and PVEM, during the meeting held in a hall of Gustavo Baz Avenue of this municipality.
She pointed out that this is why she wants to fight and reach the Senate of the Republic, to legislate with a perspective of transformation and Mexican humanism, and will seek to transcend for the benefit of the people of Mexico.
She outlined four pillars of what will be his legislative agenda: to support the reform package of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador; to strengthen municipal governments so that they may have greater powers; to legislate in the area of water to guarantee its access and conservation, as well as to raise substantive gender equality to constitutional rank.
«We are going to strengthen municipal governments, to give them a legal scaffolding that will allow them to have better attributions and obligations».
The candidate for Senator of the People of the State of Mexico, stressed: it is time for women, we subscribe to the proposals of Dr. Claudia Sheinbaum, many of them go through the legislative aspect. Therefore, we will support the proposal that she will send to Congress to raise to constitutional rank the substantive equality of women in all its forms and the right we have to a life free of violence and eradicate the wage gap».
