#SRE.- As a result of the agreements reached at the Palenque Meeting: «For a fraternal neighborhood with well-being», it was agreed to implement the Sembrando Vida and Juntos por el Bienestar cooperation projects in Colombia and Ecuador, countries that expressed their interest in Mexico, through the Mexican Agency for International Development Cooperation (Amexcid), allocating resources to implement them.

On August 21 and September 9, 2023, Letters of Intent were signed with Colombia and Ecuador, respectively, to promote the aforementioned projects, which will reach 8,000 beneficiaries in both countries.

Sembrando Vida provides monthly economic support for a period of up to eight months, technical assistance and the delivery of an agricultural package, among other benefits.

The beneficiaries of Juntos por el Bienestar will receive monthly economic support for up to six months and training in the companies and work centers linked to the project.

It is worth mentioning that the monthly economic dispersions are delivered directly, without intermediaries, to the beneficiaries in both countries, according to their needs and based on the agreements reached at the working tables.

Currently, the negotiation process continues with the authorities of both countries to agree on the rules of operation of the projects and identify the areas in which they can generate the greatest impact.
