#SICT.- The growth of the air sector with an efficient and safe transportation system is essential, said the Undersecretary of Communications and Transportation of the (SICT), Rogelio Jiménez Pons, at the inauguration of Aero Expo 2024.

At the event, which was attended by the Secretary of Economic Development, Laura González Hernández, representing the Governor of the State of Mexico, and the General Director of Toluca International Airport, José Carlos Vera Vidal, Jiménez Pons pointed out that Mexico is a territory of almost 2 million square kilometers with a configuration of large mountain ranges, which is why an efficient transportation system is required.

The official of the Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation (SICT), accompanied by the director of the Federal Civil Aviation Agency (AFAC), General Miguel Enrique Vallin Osuna, considered positive that private aviation meets to have an exchange of knowledge that, as specialists point out, there is much to do in the Mexican field.

SICT officials were present at the signing of the Letter of Intent for the Constitution of the Mexican Association of Executive Aviation by businessmen.

The international aviation exhibition and convention will be open from April 23 to 25 of this year.
