Probosque and Grupo de Rescate Aéreo «Relámpagos» fight forest fire in the municipality of Atlacomulco / @jorgenunol @SICTmx >>>

#SICT.- In relation to the fire registered this afternoon in San Felipe Pueblo Nuevo, municipality of Atlacomulco, the Protectora de Bosques del Estado de México (Probosque) informs that with the support of a helicopter of the Grupo de Rescate Aéreo «Relámpagos», six water discharges have been made over the emergency area.

This has been done to reduce the temperature and contribute to combat the fire on the ground.

Sixty-five brigades are participating in the work, of which 32 are from Probosque, 12 from the National Forestry Commission (CONAFOR), five from the brigade of Producers of the Secretaría del Campo, 10 from Civil Protection and Municipal Security of Morelos and six from the municipal brigade of Jocotitlán.

At the moment, work continues to establish a control perimeter around the fire line.
