Taiwanese companies visit Mexico to add their investments in electromobility / @SE_mx >>>

#SE.- The Ministry of Economy, in coordination with the Business Coordinating Council (CCE), received today, a mission of Taiwanese companies led by the Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers Association (TEEMA), as well as members of the Research and Development Institute for Semiconductors and Electromobility of Taiwan, to hold the Business Meeting on Electric Vehicles, in order to show the competitive advantages offered by our country to boost the electromobility sector.

Mexico’s industrial policy strengthens various sectors that generate sustainable investments such as electromobility and semiconductors, in addition to the creation of well-paid and specialized jobs for the benefit of our technical and professional talent.

Mexico is an attractive destination for investment by large companies, as it is a key player in international trade, favored by its free trade agreements, its geographic location, its air, maritime, road and rail connectivity. In addition, we are a country of young people, with talent and an increasingly specialized labor force in strategic sectors.

In order to share perspectives on the electromobility market in Mexico, this business delegation will meet for a week with business chambers from the automotive, auto parts and energy sectors, as well as with secretaries of economic development from different Mexican states.

In addition, they will hold meetings with leading associations to address relevant issues regarding the relocation of companies, the development of industrial parks, the promotion of the manufacturing industry, and the challenges and opportunities in the supply chain.

The Taiwanese private sector delegation includes Merry Electronics, Golden Bridge Electech, Universal Microelectronics, Inventec, Foxconn and Taiwan Simco Company.
