#SICT.- The Federal Civil Aviation Agency (AFAC), a decentralized agency of the Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications and Transport (SICT), informs that the verification program covering the review and calibration of 95 Radio Aids in 74 stations has concluded.
In this process, Servicios a la Navegación en el Espacio Aéreo Mexicano (SENEAM) carried out periodic measurements and statistics that allow confirming that the Radio Aids to Navigation systems are within the tolerances in the different airports.
This action provides operational certainty in Mexican airspace, highlighting that there have been no complaints from end users about course deviations or marking errors in the systems.
At the same time, the Terminal, Flight and Routing procedures were validated satisfactorily, through the execution of ten routes, using Cessna Citation 500 and 550 aircraft, registration XC-FEZ and XC-SST of the ACAA.
This work is an essential part of the amendment process to one of the points of the audit carried out to the Mexican State in two stages by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO): from February 14 to 27 and from March 6 to 14 of this year.
