#EstadoDeMéxico.- The Colegio de Bachilleres del Estado de México (COBAEM) has established itself over the years as an institution committed to the integral development of its students, standing out both personally and academically.

Founded on June 28, 1996, COBAEM has constantly evolved, adapting and expanding its objectives to ensure that each student reaches his or her maximum potential.

Under the leadership of Governor Delfina Gómez Álvarez and Miguel Ángel Hernández Espejel, Secretary of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation (SECTI), COBAEM reaffirms its commitment to academic excellence and the promotion of cultural, sports and social activities that enrich the students’ educational experience.

Juan Carlos Medina Huicochea, COBAEM’s General Director, indicated that in the last five years, school enrollment has increased 2.5 percent, reaching 44,740 students for the 2023-2024 school year.
This achievement is the result of the effort and dedication of more than 2,000 teachers who are part of its 68 campuses and 15 Centers for Distance Higher Secondary Education (CEMSAD) distributed in the State of Mexico.

This infrastructure ensures broad and equitable access to quality education. This outreach not only facilitates academic training, but also strengthens the link between the school and society, promoting the smooth integration of students into the productive and social life of their community.
