Pedro Rodríguez pays posthumous tribute to municipal police officers of Atizapán de Zaragoza / @Pedro_RVillegas @GobAtizapan >>>

#Atizapán, #Edoméx.- The Municipal President of Atizapán de Zaragoza, Pedro Rodríguez Villegas, headed the posthumous tribute that the Municipal Public Safety and Transit Department held to recognize the courage and loyalty of officers Evaristo González Lugo, Ramón Jaimes Guzmán and Selene Mendoza Hernández, who passed away due to health problems.

The ceremony was held in the central courtyard of the Municipal Palace, which was attended by relatives of the elements, active police officers and local and naval authorities.

“With this event we are demonstrating, once again, the closeness, the recognition we have towards all the security elements. To the families, my respects, my condolences for the loss, but you can see that we are not indolent in the face of the loss of a loved one,” said Mayor Rodriguez Villegas.

“This is a big family and the loss of one of the elements hurts each and every one of us. We are no strangers to pain, we regret the loss, but we want them to know that we recognize and value the effort, dedication and commitment of their loved ones.”

The Mayor also reaffirmed his government’s commitment to the members of the Atizapán Police and acknowledged their achievements.

For his part, Fabián Ricardo Gómez Calcáneo; Director of Public Safety and Municipal Transit, considered that the corporation under his charge and the Municipality of Atizapán de Zaragoza knows that it had brave men and women in service.

“When you are a policeman and take this profession you expose yourself every day for the families of others, for the citizenship and for another place where it is not your own; we know at what time we leave, because sometimes we have the opportunity to say goodbye, but we never know at what time we will return and if we will return,” said the Commissioner.
