#EstadoDeMéxico.- The Governor of the State of Mexico, Delfina Gómez Álvarez accompanied President Andrés Manuel López Obrador at the inauguration of the “Lago de Texcoco” Ecological Park, a project that represents social justice and, on behalf of the people of the State of Mexico, acknowledged the President of the Federal Executive.

“One of the greatest men I have had the joy of knowing, of forging with work and building memories in favor of the neediest, is going to stop being President of the Republic, to give way to a new stage in national history, being succeeded by the first woman who will lead the course of the country, in the person of our colleague, Dr. Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo”, said Governor Delfina Gómez Álvarez.

Likewise, the state governor thanked President López Obrador for making the country’s Fourth Transformation a reality by fighting inequality and corruption, prioritizing those who needed it most, sowing the seed of well-being and generating economic growth with social justice.

“You, President, began by always prioritizing those who needed it most and coining a phrase that is a guide and inspiration for those of us who continue working to improve the lives of the people: ‘For the good of all, first the poor’,” assured Governor Delfina Gómez Álvarez.

The “Lago de Texcoco” Ecological Park is the rescue of the largest territorial reserve in the Valley of Mexico, with more than 14 thousand hectares for the benefit of 12.5 million inhabitants; it also generated 7 thousand 600 jobs for nearby municipalities, recovered wetlands and lagoons, and built recreational areas for Mexican families.
