Confidence in the government increased during the Fourth Transformation, assures president during Sixth Government Report / @GobiernoMX >>>

#GobiernoDeMéxico.- While delivering the Sixth Government Report, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador highlighted that social trust in the government increased 132 percent between 2017 and 2023, according to data from the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI).
Additionally, among all the countries that make up the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), Mexico ranks third in terms of societal trust.

In Mexico City’s Zócalo, during his last public speech, the President emphasized that dialogue with the people of Mexico played a fundamental role in the Government of the Fourth Transformation.

Communication with the population was strengthened by holding 1,418 morning press conferences, known as mornings, as of September 1. This exercise, which takes place from Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., he said, guarantees the right to information and enforces freedom of expression and reply.

The work tours on weekends, dedicated to supervise works and Welfare Programs, also serve to gather the feelings of the people in communities, towns and municipalities of the country. Some states were visited more than 50 times, the President noted.

Simultaneously, the Citizen Attention Office at the National Palace received 536,297 people in five years and eight months; all of them were listened to and treated with respect, he informed in Mexico City’s Zócalo, accompanied by members of the Legal and Extended Cabinet, as well as governors.
