#Atizapán, #Edoméx.- In order to benefit more than 6 thousand students of different school levels, the Mayor of Atizapán de Zaragoza, Pedro Rodríguez Villegas, started the program Dando Color a tu Escuela, through which, in conjunction with the Department of Education, he delivers paint to keep school facilities in better condition.

A total of 3,800 liters of paint will be delivered to the authorities of the different schools at the beginning of the 2024-2025 school year, as part of the support plan that the Municipal President is carrying out to have decent facilities in public schools.

Accompanied by the Director of Education, Eleazar González Ordóñez, the Mayor told students of the Preparatoria Anexa a la Normal, the José Guadalupe Zuno Elementary School, the José Vizcaíno Pérez Kindergarten and the Vicente Guerrero Elementary School, that in this new beginning of the school year, the spirit of a new beginning full of challenges and opportunities must prevail.

“I want to remind them that we create the opportunities ourselves, we all have the possibility to advance and grow as far as we want and sometimes if we do not advance, it is because we have set those limits. I want there to be great professionals in Atizapán; I believe that all of you have the great possibility to grow and be very successful,” said Rodríguez Villegas.

In her speech, Gabriela Carreño Murillo, Principal of the Preparatoria Anexa a la Normal, acknowledged the work promoted by the Mayor in support of public education and said that in Atizapán the authorities approach the schools to ask what is needed to find ways to contribute with better facilities.

“You know that our institution has many needs and we are very excited that you have made this donation of paint, thank you very much President. Just now the Licenciado asked me what needs our school has and kindly told me that he is going to equip us with a computer room. Thank you, we recognize all the support you give us because we are a public school and we do not have enough resources but there are very talented teachers and students,” said Carreño Murillo.
