Government of the State of Mexico extends deadline for carriers to complete regularization process / @Edomex >>>
#EstadoDeMéxico.- In order to continue with the process of transformation and modernization of public transportation and to exercise the human right to mobility, the Government of Mrs. Delfina Gómez Álvarez extended the deadline to complete the regularization procedures for public transportation services until July 31, 2025.
Ricardo Delgado Reynoso, Undersecretary of Mobility, informed that through the agreement published in the Official Government Gazette on September 3, the term is extended for a determined period of time for carriers to complete the procedures for granting concessions, base authorizations, terminals, shuttles, shuttles, extensions and modifications of shuttles that have been initiated and could not be concluded, as well as to complete the procedures for expired concessions that have not been extended and were not favorable in time and form.
He mentioned that, with these actions, the current administration and the Secretariat of Mobility demonstrate that they are an open-door government and allies of the transportation companies, because never before in history had a similar subsidy program been implemented.
He emphasized that with the announcement of the extension there is the possibility to continue providing the fiscal benefits announced by Mrs. Delfina Gómez Álvarez and “which were worked hand in hand with the Ministry of Finance and the Legal Counsel, to make this support granted to the transportation companies a reality and to benefit them with these subsidies”.
He explained that the carriers had to pay between 9,000 and 12,000 pesos to process the renewal of their units, to continue with the regularization process; now with the subsidies, this same document will have a total cost of 1,600 pesos.
