#SICT.- The Ministry of Mobility reiterated its willingness to keep its doors open to dialogue with the transportation companies of the Toluca Valley, in view of the disagreement expressed by this sector regarding the transformation and regularization process being carried out by the Government of the State of Mexico, headed by Governor Delfina Gómez Álvarez.

Before more than 150 leaders and representatives of the state’s transportation sector, Ricardo Delgado Reynoso, Undersecretary of Mobility, pointed out that all opinions and concerns will be listened to in order to find coincidences within the framework of legality to solve particular problems and move forward in the transformation of mobility in the state.

For this, he said that the will and participation of the transportation companies is fundamental, so he asked to respect the agreements and join efforts to have achievements for the benefit of the users.

“Those of us who are here are in favor of improving public transportation and those who are in favor of improving public transportation, let’s walk together,” he said.

The transportation workers expressed their support for the public policies undertaken by the Government of Mrs. Delfina Gómez Álvarez and the Secretary of Mobility, to fight corruption and regularize the service to achieve a quality, modern, comfortable, accessible and safe public transportation.

Ricardo Delgado indicated that in an act of justice and in order not to affect the operators, while the procedures for the regularization of the concessions are being concluded, they will only be required to have a valid driver’s license and insurance for the unit, in addition to not having tinted windows. Requirements needed to assist users in the event of an automobile accident.

The Ministry of Mobility will remain firm in the fight against corruption and will work decisively to detect irregularities that are preventing progress in the regularization of the concessions, and therefore asked to denounce any illegal act that may occur and, if confirmed, the corresponding legal-administrative process will be carried out.
