Work begins on the drilling of a well in Atizapán de Zaragoza / @Pedro_RVillegas @GobAtizapan >>>

#Atizapán, #Edoméx.- The Municipal President of Atizapán de Zaragoza, Pedro Rodríguez Villegas, headed the beginning of the works for the drilling, development and gauging of the Villas de la Hacienda well, on Cuautitlán Izcalli Boulevard, almost at the corner of Lago de Guadalupe road, in Villas de la Hacienda.

It is expected that this well will provide the neighbors of this neighborhood with a greater water supply, since the inhabitants of this area depend only on the amount of liquid sent by the Cutzamala System through the Villas de la Hacienda tank.

In his speech, Rodriguez Villegas said that with this work he ratifies the commitment he made last June 2, when he won the election thanks to the citizens’ trust.

According to Alejandro Vences Mejía, director of the Potable Water, Sewage and Sanitation Services of the municipality (SAPASA), the work of the well will consist of drilling more than 300 meters, as well as the electromechanical equipment and construction of a storage tank for a better distribution of the water produced in that well.

In addition, it will have a conduction line, chlorination house, control equipment, electrical connection, authorization by the verifying unit and start-up.

Thus, Atizapán de Zaragoza continues to be a municipality under construction and where 2 billion pesos have been invested in public works, a historic figure in the district.

Neighbor Roberto Vesga Perdomo expressed his gratitude to the Mayor for the works and the change he will bring to the municipality, as did Inés Barragán, president of the Villas de la Hacienda Neighborhood Association, who assured that the government and citizens are working together.

In Atizapán de Zaragoza, the cut in the supply of liquid through the Cutzamala System began in October 2022 and currently only 350 per second are sent, less than a fifth of what was received.
