#EstadoDeMéxico.- On behalf of Maestra Delfina Gómez Álvarez, Governor of the State of Mexico, Norberto Morales Poblete, Secretary of Labor, participated in the celebration of the second anniversary of the Escuela de Artes y Oficios (EDAYO) Villa Guerrero campus.

“The Fourth Transformation invites us to leave no one behind, to build a Mexico where everyone has the possibility to grow and prosper. The Villa Guerrero EDAYO is an example of this commitment, because here we train citizens committed to their community, their environment and the future of our country,” said Secretary Morales Poblete.

This school is the result of a joint effort between government, society and productive sectors to promote integral human development; its mission is to train people over 15 years of age, adapting its programs to the specific needs of each region and each productive sector.

The Governor of the State, Delfina Gómez Álvarez, has reiterated her commitment to strengthening education and training as key tools to transform the lives of the people of Mexico. This anniversary is proof that when efforts and willpower are combined, the results are palpable, because each course, each workshop, each learning session, is one more step towards a better future for those who have decided to invest in their education and in their personal and professional development, said the Secretary of Labor.

Accompanied by Francisco Lugo Millán, Municipal President of Villa Guerrero; Zenón Vargas Martínez, General Director of the Instituto de Capacitación y Adiestramiento para el Trabajo Industrial (ICATI); and the community of this EDAYO, he visited the facilities and enjoyed the artistic performances that enlivened the celebration.
